This morning we got up fairly early so that we could have breakfast and an early start on a hike we wanted to do while the weather was good.We hiked to a viewpoint overlooking the town of Ålesund before any of the tours and crowds showed up. We pretty much had the trails to ourselves but more importantly, we had perfect weather and spectacular views of the town below. As we come down, we met the crowds on their way up and the clouds were starting to come in.

Later in the day, we went to the Art Nouveau Museum which described that style and there was an explanation about how there was a huge fire here in 1904 which completely destroyed the town.It was rebuilt and many of the structures were designed in the Art Nouveau way.Later, we walked around and observed the buildings.
